Method
1.Spray a barbecue or char-grill with oil. Preheat on medium-high.
2.In a large bowl, combine onion, olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, cumin, garlic, turmeric and paprika. Season to taste.
3.Add the prawns, tossing to coat well. Thread onto metal skewers.
4.Cook for 1-2 minutes each side, until cooked. Remove from heat. Serve with salad.
If preferred, you can use bamboo skewers. Remember to soak in warm water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Turmeric will stain your hands, so you may want to use disposable gloves when threading the prawns onto the skewers.
