1.Combine mince, onion, garlic, mint, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, zest and juice in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Form 1/4 cupful’s of mixture into sausage shapes. Thread onto skewers and place on a large plate.
2.Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large frying pan or on a barbecue hotplate over moderate heat. Cook and turn skewers for 5 minutes or until cooked. Transfer skewers to a clean plate.
3.Meanwhile, cut cucumber in half lengthwise. Using a small teaspoon, remove and discard seeds. Thinly slice cucumber and place in a medium bowl. Cut tomatoes in half; remove and discard seeds and pulp. Finely chop tomato. Add tomato to cucumber with red onion, extra mint leaves and remaining oil. Toss until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
4.Serve Kofta with salad, turkish bread and hummus.
