Parisian apple custard cake

Method

1.Mix flour, baking powder and sugar together in a bowl. Lightly beat eggs, vanilla, oil and apple juice together. Mix into dry ingredients and add apples. Spoon mixture into a well-greased 20cm ring tin.
2.Bake at 180°C for one hour and 10 minutes. Melt butter and pour over cake. Sprinkle with sugar and return to oven. Cook a further five minutes. Serve warm with softly whipped cream and apple syrup.
