Mother’s little helper gin cocktail

Try this classic peach cocktail to share with guests, or it is equally satisfying to enjoy solo.

Ingredients

Poached peach mix

1 can of peach slices in syrup.

1 cup sugar

90 millilitre falernum (look for john d. taylor’s velvet falernum or fee brothers west indian falernum syrup)

stick of thyme

To serve

45 millilitre tanqueray gin

15 millilitre lemon juice

ice

soda

Method

1.Mix peaches and syrup, sugar, falernum and thyme, poach then strain off. Blend the peaches and bottle.

2.To serve, mix gin, lemon juice and ice in a tall glass and top with soda and poached peach mix.
