Method
1.Place flour, sugar, meal, baking powder, cardamom and salt in a food processor and pulse to combine.
2.Add cream cheese and butter. Pulse until a sandy texture. Add milk, egg, yolk, brandy and extracts. Pulse until dough forms. Turn onto a floured surface. Scatter with sultanas and peel, and knead until dough is smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 15 minutes.
3.Preheat oven to 180°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
4.Roll dough on a floured surface to a 24 x 36cm rectangle. With 1 long side facing you, fold one-third of dough lengthwise into the centre, then fold again to make a long rectangle. Cut into 12 thick slices. Arrange slices flat on tray.
5.Brush with melted butter. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until slightly risen, golden and cooked when tested with a skewer, Cool on a wire rack.
6.To decorate, in a small bowl, combine icing sugar, milk and vanilla. Drizzle over scrolls. Sprinkle with diced glacé cherries and edible glitter. Allow icing to set before serving.
