Ingredients

Method

1.In a large saucepan, heat oil on high. Saute onion for 1-2 minutes until tender.
2.Add mince. Brown well for 4-5 minutes, breaking up lumps with the back of a spoon as it cooks.
3.Stir in satay spice. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add carrot, capsicum and water chestnuts. Cook for 2-3 minutes until just tender. Stir in soy sauce and season to taste.
4.Spoon 1/2 cup beef mixture into each lettuce cup. Top with bean sprouts, peanuts and green onions.

This mixture is also delicious served wrapped in lavash bread.
