Method
1.Preheat oven to 150°C.
2.Heat half oil on medium in heavy-based flameproof casserole. Saute onion and garlic 2-3 minutes, until tender. Add beef, saute 2-3 minutes, in batches, until browned.
3.Stir in tomatoes, sherry, paste, sauce, paprika and dried herbs. Cover, transfer to oven, cook 1 1/4-1 1/2 hours until meat is very tender.
4.Stir olives, capers and chopped parsley (if using) through. Serve with mash and steamed beans and scattered with parsley sprigs.
