Method
1.Cook penne in a large saucepan of boiling water according to the packet instructions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid.
2.Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Saute onion for 2-3 minutes, until tender. Increase heat to high. Add anchovies with oil and garlic and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup of reserved liquid. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, until broccoli is just tender.
3.Add broccoli mixture to the drained pasta along with walnuts and remaining reserved liquid, then toss to combine. Serve in bowls, topped with parmesan.
