1.Combine mince, apple and white part of onions (reserve green ends). Season. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Chill 20 minutes
2.Heat 2 tablespoons oil in large frying pan on medium. Cook meatballs 5-6 minutes, tossing occasionally until browned. Drain on paper towel.
3.Cook pasta in boiling, salted water, following packet instructions. Drain and return to saucepan.
4.Heat remaining oil in frying pan on medium. Saute onion ends and garlic 1 minute. Add wine, cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add meatballs with cream and peas. Simmer 2-3 minutes, until sauce is reduced by one third. Season.
5.Toss meatball mixture through pasta. Serve sprinkled with parmesan and topped with mint leaves.
