Method
1.Place one sponge cake on a 30cm (diameter) round cake board. Spread with frosting. Using a serrated knife cut level top from remaining sponge cake. Using a 7cm round cutter, cut -9 round from the trimmed sponge to make nose. Using a 5cm round cutter, cut another round from trimmed cake to make snout.
2.Using a small sharp knife, cut 2 small triangles from trimmed sponge at the arc of the 7cm circle to make feet (see pic 2, inset). Spread whole sponge with frosting. Place the 7cm cake round at the centre of the iced sponge; spread with frosting. Top with the 5cm cake round; spread with frosting to form the snout. Using a little frosting, secure feet in piece, pointing down, then cover with frosting.
3.To make eyes, piece marshmallow in position then top with blue chocolate” buttons. Place orange chocolate buttons for nostrils. Place pink biscuits for ears, then cover cake with popcorn. Add pipe cleaner to make a curly tail. Serve.
