1.Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan forced.
2.Line a 23cm pie dish with pastry; trim edge. Fill in any gaps along edge with scraps of pastry; trim. Using your thumb and finger, crimp the edge decoratively. Prick pastry lightly all over with a fork.
3.Place dish on a baking tray. Bake pastry for 12 minutes or until golden. Cool.
4.Combine pear and 1 tablespoon water in a saucepan; cover. Cook over moderate heat for 3 minutes or until pear is almost tender.
5.Add strawberry; cover. Cook for 1 minute or until just softened. Stir in honey.
6.Transfer fruit to a colander over a bowl to collect juices for serving. Cool.
7.Meanwhile, preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced.
8.Place flour and ginger in a bowl. Rub in dairy spread until crumbly, then stir in oats and sugar.
9.Place drained fruit in pastry case; sprinkle with crumble mixture. Cover pastry edge with a strip of foil to prevent overbrowning. Bake for 12 minutes or until crumble is golden.
10.Serve with reserved juice.

Pear cooking time depends on how ripe they are. Rinse a spoon under water before measuring honey, so the honey won’t stick.
