Fruit salad with ginger and green tea ice-cream

Bittersweet green tea ice cream pairs beautifully with the crisp, refreshing heat of ginger. Served with a fresh fruit salad, it becomes the perfect take-along dish for parties and potlucks.

Ingredients

Method

1.Place ice-cream in a large chilled bowl with the green tea flavouring and ginger. Using an electric mixer, beat until combined.
2.Return to ice-cream container (or freezing container). Refreeze for several hours or overnight.
3.Arrange fruit on serving platter or in individual glasses. Drizzle with lime juice and honey. Serve with scoops of ice-cream and drizzled with honey, if liked.

Green tea powder is available from major supermarkets and speciality Asian grocers.
